Attorney Kanert was born in 1974 in Aachen, Germany and has been admitted to the bar since 2002. He represents his clients in English with business fluency.
Mr. Kanert is married and has four children. If he doesn’t take a family trip in his spare time, there is a good chance to meet him either on the golf course, with running shoes or on a mountain bike in the woods.

Attorney Kanert has particular expertise in providing comprehensive support to companies, benefiting from his detailed knowledge of employment law and tax law as well as business mediation.
Issues relating to labour law include drafting and reviewing employment contracts, advising on works constitution law issues and assisting in socially responsible restructuring.
In the area of individual employment law, however, Mr. Kanert also advises employees, especially in the context of dismissal protection suits. In addition to general tax advice, his main areas of activity in the area of tax law include criminal tax law and litigation support for tax proceedings.
